Wow that's really cool! Sorry, I should have explained earlier - the clip is a music video and it starts off with a thing that says "this video cost $150 000 to make" and then it's just Sarah Mclachlan singing in her kitchen, really budget. So then it says what is wrong with this video? and then "it only cost $15". Then it begins to list things like "In LA Production Manager for one day - $2000 or in Angola school fees for 100 children for a year" and so on and so forth. In the end it says $150 000 could help 1 million people. and then "so that's where the $150 000 went". It's just really moving with pictures of the kids and the song is beautiful and when you think about how much money gets spent on music videos and how much it could do. And here, she could have made a great music video and it would have earned her hundreds of thousands of dollars in cd sales and that, but she choose to give it away. It's so cool, so amazing. I hope you get to see it sometime. If me and amz do this song writers concert thing, I'll make sure we show it!
It was quite touching. tho i will never admit to crying, which i didnt. Some day, not too far in the future, you guys will be able to do what this sarah chick has done. Im glad im assosiated with such talented muso's.
I think of FairTrade coffee and those growers who now sell lower than production costs just because they can't do anything else.
I think of myself and two friends each sitting in church on a $150 chair instead of freeing one girl from a lifetime of slavery and prostitution.
I think of going to watch a movie and eat BK instead of giving somebody their sight back.
I think of the U.S.A. spending $1.2 Billion dollars a month in Iraq alone instead of releasing the Two-Thirds World from paralysing debt (the developing world now spends $13 on debt repayment for every $1 it receives in grants).
I bought an armband recently so I won't forget the rest of the world's marginalised, even if I'm not watching things as great as this video:

It is very moving. I nearly cried too. What a great thing for Sarah to do, being in such a position where she can but doesn't have to do something.
So does this mean... our video clips are going to run on a $15 budget?!
What is making you two cry? I want to see it but my computer must be too slow. Any other options?
